How to score 7 Band in Writing

This Is the email I got it from  egnish.net .These guys ae awesome
Here is some important information nobody has taught you at school so you might want to read this carefully. There is a very basic rule that applies to many situations and aspects of your life and it's called 'the law of increased returns'. I'm pretty sure that you have never heard of this before, have you? Well, the law of increased returns is older than mankind itself and it is universal. This law says that whatever you do to or for another individual comes back to you multiplied several times. So for example, if you help another person without asking what you get back from it, you will be rewarded for your efforts and what you receive in return will be several times more than what you have invested. Since this law is universal it also works in nature, science and economy.

Let's look at how food is grown: First the farmer cultivates the soil, plants the seeds, waters and nurtures the ground and then Mother Nature pays them back for their efforts and intelligence. And the payback is much greater than what the farmer initially invested. If this wasn't the case, we would all starve to death in a matter of days. The law of increased returns also applies to the way energy is generated. The amount of effort you put in is always much smaller than what you get out. Otherwise it would be impossible for you to drive a car, heat your house or use your computer.

What most people don't know is that the law of increased returns also works when it comes to learning English. For example, the vast majority of people don't learn how to type without constantly looking at their keyboards. As a result they need a lot of time to create a very short simple message and they make a lot of typos. Please keep in mind that this applies to everyone -- native speakers of English as well as learners of English. We live in an age of electronic communication. Most documents are typed on a computer. Most messages are sent through the Internet. The fastest and most effective way of exchanging letters is via email. Now, how do you create an electronic document? By using a computer keyboard, of course. The question is how many people who own a computer have actually learned how to type properly? I would say no more than 5%. Think about this: 95% of all computer owners never learn how to use their computers properly. Very strange, isn't it? Imagine if 95% of all car owners never learned how to drive a car.

So how exactly does the law of increased returns apply to learning English? Well, if you learn how to type properly, you can ask more questions and you can share more of your experiences with people from around the world. Being able to type also means that you can do your job much more effectively. If you can type you can answer more emails without any typing mistakes. Learning how to type is not difficult. You invest a few hours first but you will be paid back for your efforts many times. You learn how to type once and then you will benefit from this single skill all your life because it's a fact that computers and keyboards will be an integral part of our lives for the coming decades if not centuries. It's also a fact that we live in a world of competition: The most effective workers get the best jobs. The people with the best jobs get the highest salaries. The people who get the highest salaries get the best opportunities to do what they really enjoy.

do you think it is difficult to compete with others when it comes to getting A high-paid job? I would say it's quite easy because so many people are not willing to learn the basics. If someone tells me they really want to learn English but they are not willing to learn how to type first, this person actually doesn't want to learn English. They are just not serious about their goals because it doesn't take much to learn how to type. You probably remember that a couple of weeks ago I asked you how fast you can type. The actual question should be 'Can you type properly'? And if your answer is 'no' you should ask yourself when you are going to start learning how to type. Yes, I know I might sound demanding and I actually am because I want you to succeed. I want you to belong to the small minority of people who have learned how to set and achieve their goals.

Our forum members frequently ask us how they can improve their writing skills. By now I think you know how to answer this question. As a matter of fact, you might want to do the following: Browse through the posts on our forum. You can easily see who of the authors have learned how to type properly and who have not. At the bottom of this email you will find a list of commonly made typing errors and you can check them for yourself. As you go through the list, please remember that a potential employer would usually not tell you what they think about you when they see that you can't type properly. They just look for those people who understand the 'law of increased returns' and give the job to someone who has learned how to use a computer keyboard.

I understand that changing your habits and investing time in your future is a challenge for you. That's why I'd like to encourage you to connect with other learners on our forum and support one other in learning how to type and achieve our goals. It is difficult to start something new if you are on your own. However, if we pull together, anything is possible. If you want to take part in this project, click on the links below and post your thoughts on the forum. Many thanks. Torsten Daerr.

How to get perfect score in Writing

Hi Friends ! As I said I was able to score 28-29 in all  Toefl  module except speaking . I do not know  when, I will be  get my desired score in  speaking module , but same   time  I would like to share my experience with writing section . Now  I know  how to score at least 28-29  in writing module . Again  your score does not  shows that how good you are in  writing  . This is  all about practice and way to attend exam . This is like  you are racing with a Olympian gold medallist in   Marathon , and this guy does not know his tracks , but you are familiar with track .He lost his way and never completed  his Marathon . But you won the Marathon , because you knew  and were familiar with track . Though , you are a winner that does not mean that you are better runner  then him . Same in Toefl , do not get discouraged  if you are not good at English, still you can score good . This c  exam is not  testing you English , but this test is checking  your familiarity with Toefl exam . Once you know the mind set of these  examiners .You are done . Only thing you required is , you should fulfil the essential requirements of this race . You should know the track  and you should have stamina to complete the race . You will win for sure . I score four times 28-29 in writing . Now You will be wondering why, I am writing this exam again and again  .Because,  I am not scoring in  speaking . I do not know   what,  they are looking for . Once I know , I will get 29 in speaking as well .
If Any English language expert  will read  this post , I am sure he/she will grade it as average/or below average. But , trust me  with this much skill  , I scored  couple of times 29 .  Now ,you will be wondering , how I scored 29 . I will advice  practice more and more. The strategy , I adopted to  write my IBT was as  follow . This might prove help full for you . While practising , I adopted  the four following fundamental
They Are
Clear
I think we should be clear about our topic , what we are writing . First of all choose small sentences , so that you are not making more mistakes in longer sentences . Punctuation is the hardest part of writing . Longer the  sentences you  write , more the comma,s ,   you will need  and most of us do not know where to put comma,s exactly .We do silly mistakes . Best  sentence should be about 10-20 words.
Second  is Cohesion .Cohesive means  glue your topic . It should not be give a view of shattered  glass . We should try to link our thoughts with help these words . Like As this shows, because of this , as i described , it is clear from above , after analysing, to provide a summary ,First , secondly , further more , on other hand , addition to . . This gives a smoothness to your  essay .
Third  clue for  writing is that do not repetitive. Like try to use more synonyms . Mistake , error , help , giving a hand , welcome, embrace . But make sure that these synonyms are relevant .If you are not getting synonym  then use antonym in negative sentence   Like  , I will come if weather permits .If weather allows , I wont come if weather is bad .
last is summery . always conclude your essay  and summarize at the last in four or five line . Do not become descriptive  when  ,  summarizing . I remember, my friend use to finish his essay with in Nutshell . Yes when you are putting some thing in nutshell means it should be complete and small enough to fit in shell
So I do not know this is right English or bad  but   I  scored  good numbers . You try  probably you will get good score . I did get it
any Way best of luck

What NoteFull Is And How We Try To Help You  back to top

Welcome. I want to let you know that NoteFull is really something bigger than what you see here. We aim to revolutionize the concept of education by introducing the idea that just as with anything else, results matter.

Education is far more than just helping someone get from point A to point B, but there has to be a direction, destination, and determination to get a student to point B. Our revolutionary concept is: help until. Once you enter as a student, a relationship is born in which we fully commit to helping you succeed at whatever goals you have until you actually achieve them, however long it takes. Success is guaranteed.

That philosophy is where all of our success has come from: in knowing that though our material may be great as it stands, it can always be better and that any meaningful improvement comes from addressing the difficulties of our students who need more help hitting their goals by finding creative new ways to overcome those difficulties. It’s why our site and programs are continuously updated and have been throughout the years.

We have a deep respect for you, our student, and a firm grip on the trust that you place in us when you invest your time, energy, and resources in what we teach. That is why we test everything we teach every moment we teach it with every student we have. Our minds are never far from another way to express, explain, or illuminate what we must teach you to make it easier for you to improve and enjoy the process.

We believe that every moment a teacher teaches offers an opportunity to influence the student, you, positively, which is why we don’t just have a sign-up form, why we offer help not just to students who can register for a fee. We offer free help not only to introduce students to our programs but as complete help for them so that they may unconsciously notice that not every form of help should be paid for, especially when it comes to education.

It’s why as an online test prep company, we are one of the few if not the only one that actually has a motivation page designed to be there for the student to offer help and encouragement when a teacher can’t. It’s why we have a newsletter that focuses on teaching rather than always promoting a new product. We believe that these small points have an influence on the professionals that pass through our programs.

More important than when we started (which was in 2005), or how small we were when we started (just one or two new students every week or so), or how we’ve grown (from offering only TOEFL speaking and writing help to now offering help in all sections of the TOEFL, vocabulary, ESL, and IETLS [in the process of production])--more important than all of that is the root of what we are and what we try to do: help you in the very best way that we can. NoteFull is a teaching institution first and a business second.

I hope you know that you’re in good hands and that your trust in NoteFull is well placed. We stand behind everything we do and everything we do is to help us better stand behind you. Success for you is on it’s way. Stay strong, stay focused, and remember that we’re always here to help. Now you know the history, the story, the mission, and the dream. Thanks for being a special part of it.

Wishing you great luck in your studies,
Joseph Miranda

What is TOEFL

Actually Toefl consist of four section or some time some people call it modules . First one is reading section , which further divided in to three to five passages which are roughly 800 words each . Each Paragraph is followed by 12 to 14 multiple choice questions about the content of the paragraph .Most of the questions are 1 point worth each .It is said that last few questions might be worth of more then one point . Usually you get 1 hours to one and half hour to complete this section . Second section is about nine audio compositions , each is about five minute long . This listing section will be either academic or simple conversations .Again this section is about an hour or half an hour long Third one is speaking section , which is said to be to test your speaking abilities .This section is consist of about 6 sub sections , you need about 20 minutes to complete entire section . Last one is writing section consisting of two writing assignments . One is purely writing section while other one is composed of listening ,reading and writing .So you will need to demonstrate all three skill in this subsections .

Speaking : My best bet

Toefl Speaking remain a Big hurdle for Toefl aspirants .Specially , who are writing this exam to get registered as pharmacist .There are students who have tried this exam about 15 times , but did not pass. That does not mean that they have bad English or they are not good speakers. I knew a Canadian Pharmacist who is a pharmacist in Canada about 5 years . His clientele like him very much for his counseling skills .But according to ETS his Speaking is not up to grade. SO never get dishearten if do not score desired score in speaking module. First of all raters are computers , who do not have common sense .So they can not rate correctly . After all kinds research I discovered that following points if kept in mind while doing your speaking section , there are chances where you can score good . First is your favorite topic . Choose about 50-60 topics which and memorized it by heart . This is the section , where you can score best. Make sure that you know about 20 terms of vocabulary , which can be used perfectly in sentences . So that what ever question is , just mold your answer according to that answer and used the words clearly , you just cramped. They should make sense in your answer. Always speak clearly , slowly (It should be OK not to fast, or not too slow.) More clear you speak , more chances of getting high score is . Do not speak too fast , they are not judging you fluency in terms of how you speak fast. I am not hundred % sure whether this tip works or not but i knew few people who were writing this exam since ages , scored fairly good when they adopted this technique . So my first tip is Speak slowly , clearly and use variety of vocabulary .Even give a time for period . Well , I like reading books but My favorite book is Pickwick papers . I love this book for several reasons First of all this is written by my favorite author Charles Dickins. secondly subject is very humorous, which made this book for me a preference .Furthermore , this book was readily available and was not expensive . Though , I gave this idea to many of my friends and they got through .This time I will be also using this trick and will see what happens .

Speaking Remain a Hurdle In Toefl IBT

Toefl IBT Toefl IBt remained puzzle for me . Though, all English proficiency exams remained a puzzle for me . I do not know , which exam is true tester for some one,s English proficiency .For instance , I wrote all these English exams . I wrote my Ilets Exams for almost four times and every time I received about 7 and 7.5 bands in all module except listening . Every time I appeared in exam and received 5 and 5.5 modules . So according to Ilets my listening was not up to standards . So I got fed up and decided to write Toefl IBT and did almost 5 times . Ironically all times I received about 28 marks in all module except speaking . I was getting below 25 in speaking . Means my speaking was not up to standards . Then I decided write can test .So more surprisingly Cantest gave me 5 bands out of five in all module except writing and I was just getting 3.5 in writing all the time , so it means my writing was up to standards to practice in my profession . I was all up set because these exam conducting bodies were playing games with me . One was saying that your speaking is not good , while other one was giving me 100 % in module . So to whom I should believe ? One was saying that you get 28 out of 30 in writing while other one just gave 3 out of 5 saying that your writing in not up to good. Next I decided to write another English exam from US university exam called MELAB . By I luck I passed this exam in second attempt . So I can say that all these exams are just bogus and none them are up to standard , which can test some one English proficiency . If you want to score good in any English exam , just practice more and more . These test do not test you English proficiency , but it test , how good you know about test . Even a English dumb person can score good marks in these exams . I would like to tell you that I write for newspaper and do diabetes education seminars but still these bodies thinks that I am not able to communicate in English fluently. Make sure you also download all the TOEFL material from the ETS website, including the Official Bulletin, Test Center Locations etc. Registering for the iBT also gives you access to TOEFL-Access, a portal for students with a lot of helpful material on it. Plus, you can always Google for more TOEFL resources on the web. So once again these website wont teach any English , but how to write exam .
